In the second part of this series, our readers gain an understanding of the fundamental thinking behind GlobalLogic’s past successes in DX and core principles that will support its future in the age of AI.
[Part 1]Leading the Way in Digital Engineering and AI
[Part 2]Driving Customer DX Success and Generating Intellectual Asset Value in the Age of AI
Digital Engineering with “Intelligent” Social Impact
Let’s take a closer look at our strengths. GlobalLogic’s corporate message “Engineering Impact” expresses our commitment to delivering intelligent engineering solutions that have a positive social impact and drive the success of our customers’ digital transformation (DX) and business growth — an approach that leverages data, design, and engineering in combination with cutting-edge technologies. Our message stands on three core pillars of digital engineering:
“Designed for Desirability” Designing the user experience does not begin with technology. We pursue experience design that starts with the genuine desire to use the technology that leads to the experience. Through Method, GlobalLogic’s strategic design arm, we develop an integrated approach combining experience design and service design. We not only design comprehensive experiential value that incorporates not just the functionality of a product, but also its social context and emotional satisfaction, but we also visualize the future vision of our customers’ businesses.
“Engineered for Excellence” Advanced engineering brings ideas and designs to life, layer upon layer of excellence from chip to cloud. This means employing the latest technologies at all levels, including embedded control, IoT, AI, data analytics, and cloud integration, to transform concepts into fully realized, high-performance solutions.
“Curated for Intelligence” Engineering collects data after system implementation, applies AI-driven analysis, and transforms data from mere information into insights, guiding our clients toward becoming intelligently evolving organizations. This creation of intellectual value through data and AI represents the true essence of GlobalLogic. We actively provide our clients with the latest expertise in large language models (LLMs), AI governance, and responsible AI implementation, ensuring they stay at the forefront of intelligent transformation.
GlobalLogic VelocityAI — Taking organizations from ideas to impact and unlocking tangible business value
Our aim is not to replace humans with AI. We want to support the engineering of a world in which AI amplifies human creativity — a society in which digital technology and human ingenuity co-evolve. AI is not an end in itself. We believe that it is a means to make society smarter and more sustainable.
However, many companies struggle to implement AI effectively and use it safely. To address this challenge, we developed and launched GlobalLogic VelocityAI in March 2025. This comprehensive suite of service offerings integrates AI, digital technologies, and human expertise to support AI-driven product development, operational efficiency, and faster decision-making.
GlobalLogic Velocity AI is built on “Platform of Platforms,” our platform architecture which integrates existing AI models and cloud services while promoting the safe and efficient use of AI through robust management of security and legal risks. It consists of two main components: “AI-powered SDLC,” which applies AI across the entire software development lifecycle, and “Enterprise AI,” which supports corporate AI adoption aimed at improving operational efficiency and creativity. Together, these components enable organizations to use AI safely and responsibly, creating sustained value across products, services, and operations.
GlobalLogic VelocityAI provides an end-to-end framework that balances flexibility, security, and compliance. This ensures organizations can move beyond proof of concepts and confidently deploy enterprise-grade AI at scale. Achieved outcomes include 30% improvement in overall organizational productivity, 25% reduction in product and service development time, and 20% reduction in operational costs.
GlobalLogic VelocityAI is already increasingly playing a role in Hitachi’s software development and related initiatives. In addition, the Hitachi Group is promoting mergers and acquisitions of AI-related companies with the aim of strengthening its capabilities and expanding its global footprint. Most recently, in September 2025, GlobalLogic acquired synvert, an AI consulting firm headquartered in Germany. Our new wholly owned subsidiary will accelerate our development of agentic AI (AI that acts autonomously to achieve set goals) and physical AI (AI that interacts directly with the real physical world while operating autonomously). Our augmented capabilities are also expected to enhance the deployment of Hitachi’s HMAX solution suite, which leverages these technologies to address challenges faced by customers and society.
“We are the catalyst for driving DX across the Hitachi Group.”
GlobalLogic capabilities are both the key and the catalyst for promoting DX through the realization of “True One Hitachi.” One example is our central role in a group-wide collaborative project at Hitachi Rail’s new digital factory in Hagerstown, Maryland. Opened in September 2025, the factory aims to realize next-generation smart manufacturing through optimized production processes, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced worker safety.
In addition to initiatives with Hitachi Energy to advance equipment maintenance and transform energy solutions, we are also working with companies in the Connective Industries sector—including Hitachi High-Tech, Flexware Innovation (headquartered in the U.S.), and Hitachi Aqua-Tech Engineering (headquartered in Singapore)—on a variety of initiatives such as digitalizing manufacturing processes and enhancing applications to improve user experience.
